- Picnic table weather is a distant memory.
- Snow-covered trampoline.
- Kids’ fort (shack) got a dusting.
- Creepy (and cool) tree.
- Pretty tree.
- Bell on the farm.
We got a little snow last night.
And it’s been a little cold.
And it’s going to stay a little cold (for the next week or so, according to local forecasters).
Kids had a snow day today.
So we let them stay up LATE last night to watch the live version of Sound of Music.
We are so nice.
Parents-of-the-year.
Thought they might sleep in.
Big mistake.
Boys were up by 5:15 a.m.
My throat hurts.
We always need antibiotics when the weather is bad. Growl.
Masen has been asking to go outside since before the sun came up.
I might just let him out to get 35 seconds of peace before he realizes it’s not fun to play in snow when it’s below 20 degrees and it’s still snowing and he comes back inside. Leaving behind another pile of laundry for me NOT to wash today.
Because my throat hurts.
And we stayed up late (parents-of-the-year).
I see hot chocolate and naptime in our futures.
And maybe some dishes and laundry and vacuuming and all that other stuff. Maybe.
