Hello and welcome to my blog! I am a wife, a mom to four kiddos and a wannabe southwest Missouri farmer.

I was born and raised in this corner of Missouri, only going further south for a few years to get a Mass Communications degree from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin.

Life’s been in fast-forward ever since with a marriage, four kids in four years and the purchase of our quaint 40-acre place just outside of town. We have a small herd of beef cattle and dabble in chickens and other creatures.

My husband, Matt, and I work hard and have lots of laughs. I hope you find our journey just as entertaining.
